How we get your home cleaned--
The first cleaning is a deep cleaning; and that usually takes twice as long as a regular cleaning. Maintenance cleaning is then needed to keep your home up to par. We recommend a thorough cleaning followed by weekly or biweekly service for maintenance. However we know that sometimes clients need more flexibility, so we can now offer you a plan where we only clean every 3 to 4 weeks.

	Services include: MOVE IN/MOVE OUT CLEANING-- It is presumed that all furniture is removed for this cleaning. There should be nothing left in closets, shelves, or anywhere. Any items which are found will be removed/disposed of unless otherwise notified. In all rooms are: Cob webs are dusted away. Fans are cleaned. Wood work is cleaned. Light fixtures are dusted (washed upon request only). Blinds are wiped (washed upon request only). Closets, cupboards and shelves are cleaned. Interior windows are cleaned. Window wells cleaned upon request. Bathrooms: Fixtures are cleaned and sanitized inside and outside. Shower curtains are removed and disposed of. Kitchens: Oven is cleaned. It is presumed that the self-cleaning oven cycle will have been run in advance of the cleaning team arrival. If spray is appropriate, Jenni On The Spot will clean using this method. Self cleaning ovens must not be sprayed. The stove and refrigerator will be pulled out when possible (as long as damage will not be caused to the appliance or floor) in order to clean behind and underneath these items. The home is to be left in a ‘like new’ condition.


	CLEANING FOR LEAD-BASED PAINT INSPECTION: Areas to be tested are vacuumed with special filter vacuums and the appropriate solution is used to clean. Usual areas that are tested are: woodwork, window wells, window sills and divisions, floors, and stairs.




	CONSTRUCTION/REPAIR/RENOVATION CLEANUP The entire interior of the home is to be cleaned. It is presumed that all construction materials will have been removed and that all labels will have been removed from all fixtures. Any furniture will remain covered until cleanup is completed. All rooms will be cleaned. Walls and windows will be dusted and the cleaned. The interior of all windows will be cleaned. All bathroom fixtures will be cleaned and sanitized. All kitchen fixtures will be cleaned and sanitized. Kitchen cupboards will be cleaned inside and outside. Fan blades and motor cases will be wiped free of dust. Closets will be cleaned. Laundry appliances will be wiped free of dust. The front step/porch will be swept

Equipment we use:
Our vacuums are compact with a dual motor and dual filtration system and onboard attachments. We use the commercial model Sanitaire SC 785. We change filters once a week and bags need to be changed more frequently.
We use microfibre cloths that can be washed and reused. (The “Wishy Wash Laundromat” does our laundry and can do yours to; they have a pickup and delivery service www.wishywash.com).
For the floors we use microfibre cloths on a stronger “Swiffer” so that we don’t bring your neighbor’s dirt in with the mop to your home.
